T.J. Salih - Chartered Physiotherapist

TJ Salih graduated from the University of East London in 1994 with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. After qualifying he continued for a year at the university as a research fellow before moving to the public sector and gaining experience in a number of fields.

In 1996 he progressed to work with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC), first part time and then full time Physiotherapist for all the professional players at the club. In 1999 TJ travelled across Australia and observed how clinics combined manual therapy and evidence based specific exercises, in particular spinal exercises, giving patients a much better outcome than more traditional models employed in the UK.

On his return he co-founded back2normal along with Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Colin Natali, which utilises a similar model observed in Australia but using specialised equipment and protocols from Finland. In the preceding years this has successfully produced the desired excellent outcomes for hundreds of patients.

His clinical interests include sports injuries, intramuscular stimulation, connective tissue manipulation and spinal pain. In addition, he mentors Physiotherapy students and new graduates and lectures on both under graduate and post graduate courses.
